Then and Now

Tony and I thought today how BIG our baby has become. As you can see from the pictures the 2 weeks picture is a far cry from the almost 13 month picture. He is a big baby! (yes, he still takes one bottle of milk during the day but has a sippy cup of milk in the morning and before bed). xoxox

So Sad

The Bagnulo family is so sad. Why? Because our dear friend, Brandi, is leaving NY and heading back to the west coast. Brandi was in the Peace Corps with me, in our wedding, moved into my old apt. in NY, and a dear dear friend. She moved to NY a year after I did to get her Masters at the New School. After graduating from the New School she worked for a company called Pencil. She is now going back to Portland to peruse non-profit management and be near her family. Tony, Aldo and I will miss her SO much. She was like family to us and it is so sad to say good-bye.

Brandi,
We love you! Thanks for always being there for us! You are an amazing person and friend. We wish you all the luck in the world with your new adventures!

Less than 2 months

Yep, Tony and I have less than two months before baby TBA will be here! (Note: We have decided on a name but we are not telling anyone until the baby is here- sorry moms) I can not believe how time flys with the second pregnancy! Aldo has no clue that he is about to be a 'big' brother. He will soon! We are just getting ready for baby #2- I just ordered the second seat for our stroller and a mini co-sleeper, which is all we needed to purchase luckily. That is the nice thing about having another boy! I also have to give a shout out to my cousins, Jodi and Tony, who let us borrow anything we need from them. We are on opposite baby schedules- she gets pregnant then me then her then me!!! haa

This pregnancy is going good...I have gained the exact same weight as with Aldo (8 months= 20 lbs). I am still walking a ton and getting to the gym about 4 mornings a week. I am craving sweets this time around (with Aldo all I wanted was tator tots!). The baby is a big mover- way more than Aldo was. He keeps me on my toes, kicking and moving all day and night- non-stop!!! However, Aldo had the hick-ups more than this baby does. My official due date is May 20th but I think I will deliver around the 15th. I also think this baby will weigh more than Aldo did. Aldo was 8 lbs. 2 ounces. Those are just my gut instincts!

As far as Aldo goes....Not walking yet but close...Loves mommy's sweet potato fries...Loves to play peek-a-boo....Loves to visit GW, JP, and Coco....Loves to say da da and dog dog...Weighs almost 27 lbs.....(which is a lot of weight for me to carry around with a big 'ol belly)...Loves to pretend to talk on the phone....Loves yo gabba gabba (literally freaks out when he hears it come on)....

That's all for tonight...Off to watch my FAVORITE show the Amazing Race...xoxox

Birthday Boy!

Aldo turned 1 on March 9th! Oh how I can remember the day that little man arrived- seems like yesterday! He has brought such joy to Tony and I that we can not remember life before him! He is soooo sweet! We love you Aldo! Happy 1st Birthday!

Home Sweet Home

Sorry no pictures to display yet (but they will be coming soon).

Aldo and I had an awesome time down south the last 9 days! We saw many new faces and Aldo celebrated a little pre-birthday party! Note: He doesn't like cake!! (well not the type I made)

We are now getting back into our city life groove! Today Aldo was a trooper and spent 5 hours in his stroller while mommy walked all over the city going to her obgyn doctor appt. to get shots for baby 2 (name TBD). I can't believe how good Aldo is sometimes! "Sometimes" being the key word...Yes, he was really good on the flight back from SC- he learned how to clap and say dog--so that's what kept him busy most of the flight. I am sure the PACKED plane loved hearing his little voice saying 'dog do do do do dog' the WHOLE time!! Also I want to thank the makers of goldfish and graham crackers- they are truly a life saver (or flight saver!). But he is becoming his own person and has his own idea of right and wrong! I can tell he is going to soon be a handful.

Tony and I can not believe our little man is turning 1 on March 9th. Where did the time go? He is becoming quite the charmer. He loves to laugh (esp. at his cousin Wryder and his daddy). He LOVES my parents dogs! He loves beets, apples, blueberries, daddy's french toast, oranges, goldfish, grilled cheese, bananas, and pretty much anything that mommy is eating! He weighs about 26 lbs. and wears 24 months clothing!! He loves to stare at people with an intense look like he is looking into their soul. He loves to play peek-a-boo. He loves yo gabba gabba! He loves to wrestle! He loves the kitchen and the bathroom (or anywhere he is not allowed). And hopefully he will soon love his new brother (less than 3 months to go)!

We are so lucky to have such amazing parents, sibling, family, and friends who love and support us and Aldo! xox

(I will post pictures when I am less tired!!)
