Please meet Aldo Forbes Bagnulo

Weighing in at 14 ounces and looking as handsome as his father- we are pleased to post our first photos of baby Aldo! We had an excellent 20 week (and 3 days!) anatomy scan this morning and Aldo has a clean bill of health! All of his fingers, toes, kidneys, brain, heart, "goods" are accounted for. We are so thrilled that he is doing great and growing like a weed- his feet are up near his head so he is folded in half like a sandwich- poor guy. The nurse insured us that he has no sense of comfort- haa. He has been very active at night- kicking up a storm. I can even see his kicks from the outside of my belly. We are so thankful for our blessings and thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support, Amber and Tony

Aldo Forbes Bagnulo

I FINALLY feel pregnant! At 19 weeks (almost 5 months) I have popped out! Today I had a mini meltdown trying to get dressed for work- I realized that I no longer can fit into my regular clothes and must go buy maternity clothes asap! I feel great and am so excited to finally "look" pregnant rather than look a little round! I also knew that I looked pregnant when I was offered a seat on the subway! Haa.

I think I started to feel Aldo moving around this past weekend. I have been told it feels like butterfly's or a fluttering feeling- but I only felt little kicks. Even Tony claims he felt a kick! They are so soft so I am still uncertain if it is a real kick or just gas! Haa. But once I feel him more and more then I will know exactly what his movements feel like.

Brandi wanted me to post a day in the life of an eating pregnant Amber so here was what I have taken in today: cereal, pear, 10 saltines, big plate of meat spaghetti, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, salad, 2 servings of chicken stir fry, and popcorn with parmesan. But it's only 9pm so I have some time to go!

Upcoming pregnancy events: tomorrow I am getting my flu shot as recommended by Dr. Jew and on Monday we have our 20 week hour autonomy scan. Updates to follow!

Thank you for the outpouring of love and support! We love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday events

Saturday's are always filled with lots of football and friends and this Saturday was no exception. Matt, Lisa, Damien, Holly, Brett, Kajal, Riley, Brandi, Tony and I spent the day together cheering on the Bulldogs to another win, watching Dilan be the sweetest baby of all time, and we learned that the Real Housewives of Atlanta is a show that gets Atlanta all wrong but is really hard to turn off. Haa.

On another note, Saturday morning I meet up with a pregnant moms walking group in Central Park. It was nice to walk the park and talk about what we are all experiencing. There was five of us and 3 of us were due in March. The girl in charge of the group also does a hula hoop class, which I will be joining! She says its a good workout and a ton of fun! I will keep you posted. I will be posted my 19 week picture on Tuesday so stayed tune.

Michigan

This weekend Tony and I flew to Michigan to share in our second cousin's (Megan and Kevin) wedding. It was in a cute town called Birmingham, right beside Bloomfield Hills. It was nice because we got to spend some quality time with Ida and Aunt Pat and we also snuck in a little visit to meet Jaelyn, Jeremy and Kim's beautiful daughter. We really lucked out because the weather in Michigan at this time of the year is really dicey, but it was about 70 and beautiful. This was Tony's first trip to Michigan, hopefully next time we will have longer than 48 hours so he can see more of the state and my family. We had a blast but are always happy to come home!

SEX

Caught your attention didn't I?

Tony and I are excited to announce that we are having a boy! We went to see the doctor for my monthly check up at 17 weeks and he is pretty certain that we are having a boy! I saw the goods about 3 times during the sonogram, so I am 100% certain we are having a boy! We also received the results of some testing we have been doing and the baby has a clean bill of health!

We are the luckiest parents (to be) on earth and are on cloud nine at the moment. Now I must grow my little peanut- about 5 1/2 months to go!!!! I just pray that if he is anything like his father (almost 11 lbs. at birth) that he will be gentle entering this world!

Columbia Football

Tony and Jodi invited us for a day of Columbia football. Tony (McGill) used to play for Columbia and wanted to share this game with his new little man. And like usual, Wryder was an angel. He liked the car ride and I think enjoyed what he saw of the game even though he was more interested in people watching (like his mom and Aunt Amber). Thanks Jodi and Tony for sharing this day with us!
