American Museum of Natural History

Aldo loves the American Museum of Natural History. Today was the second time I have taken him to the free sprinkler area. He would have stayed all day if I would have let him. Don't worry he has SPF 70 on! haa haa

'Big' baby

Aldo has been acting like a little baby lately- he loves to sit in CJ's chair and watch cartoons or drink his milk. In these pictures he is having a tasty lolly pop thanks to his daddy! Also pictured is Aldo having a fit because CJ is sitting on his lap! Most of the time Aldo is very gentle with CJ but in this particular picture he didn't want him around!

CJ turns 2 months today July 13th....

CJ is already 2 months- what!!! Where did the time go?

He is such a joy (when he is not crying-haa)!! He does get bad gas which is painful to watch. Luckily it doesn't last that long.

He has become so alert in the past few days. I will get right beside his face and talk to him and he will smile and talk back. Even the pediatrician said he was very vocal at his last appointment.

Aldo is very gentle with CJ. He continues to show his love by touching him or leaning in to give him a kiss.

I am looking forward to longer stretches of sleep. However, not sure when those days will happen. My goal is to have him sleeping through the night at 4 months and shortly after that he will move to Aldo's room. That will be interesting!!

All in all life is great. We started Gymboree classes again yesterday and Aldo had a blast! CJ was a good little brother letting Aldo play while staying quite in the baby Bjorn. I have also started going to church! Aldo went with me last Sunday and loved playing in the huge playroom!

Sorry such a random post- trying to get some thoughts out before one of my boys starts crying- haa. Until next time....

This week in NYC has been brutally hot! Aldo, CJ and I pass the time by playing inside and taking quick trips to the store for a little fresh air. (fresh air maybe not so much!)

Aldo continues to be a great big brother. He loves CJ so much and shows his affection often with kisses. It is so sweet to see them together. I can't wait until they are running and giggling together!!

CJ turned 6 weeks....

Our newborn is already wearing 3 month old clothes, holding his head up and sleeping 5 hour stretches (sometimes) through the night. He is growing up so fast! I am taking him to the doctor tomorrow so I will post more about his statistics then....Nighty night.
