Before I leave for Germany tonight- I wanted to post a few cute pictures of our precious buddle of joy!

Heading to Germany!

We are off to Germany on Sunday to see Uncle Gibb and Aunt Marina! Tony is going to join us after he goes to Amsterdam for work! We are so excited for Aldo and Gibb and Marina to meet! I just hope the 9 hour flight goes smoothly. We had no problems on Aldo's 1st flight last month to SC so I am hoping the same holds true for this flight. Other than that we went to the doctor for a little eye infection this week. We got some medicine and Aldo seems to be doing better. He weighed in at 18 big lbs. He is in the 98th percentile for weight!! Not sure how long he is because he did not get measured. He had his last Gymboree play class this week- we had been going twice a week for 5 weeks thanks to grandma Robyn! We LOVED Gymboree time!! Aldo is smiling a ton!! He is now standing too- not by himself of course but with our help he loves to put weight on his feet! The other day at Gymboree he even sat by himself for a minute or two!! (We haven't been able to replicate that yet) At night we are still having a difficult time with him. He can not get comfortable in his crib- he goes to bed around 9:30 or so then tends to wake at midnight- Tony comforts him back to sleep- then he is up again about 2am to eat- then again at 5 or 6...sometimes he is up throughout those times crying. We are not sure how to get him to sleep through the night or even not to wake up so much- it is a learning process for sure. Every night is different; some are good some bad! Let's just hope we can get on a schedule after we get home from Germany. He will be 4 months on July 9th so I am hoping that will be a turning point! Other than the sleep deprivation we are enjoying each and every second with our little man! He brings us so much joy and love! Well I am off to start packing!! Germany here we come!!

Father's Day

The family picture was from this morning. Tony and I went to brunch at our favorite Soho spot! The next photo is Aldo after his bath and I made sure to comb his hair down but I guarantee tomorrow morning it will be standing straight up again. The other photo are just Aldo playing in his new chair thanks to his Auntie Jodi and Uncle Tony.

Aldo and I went to visit Tony at work last week. Here are a few shots of our visit.

3 months old this week

Aldo turned 3 months old this week and is growing like a weed. Today I went down to meet Tony for lunch (and to show off Aldo again to his work peeps) and he put him on the fedex scale and he is about 16+ lbs. It was hard to get an accurate reading because he did not fit on it- haa haa. Then Aldo and I went to visit Jodi, Jeana and GW and Aldo was able to sit in the activity station and hold his head up!! And finally tonight I put a 12 month old onesy on him and it fit! So I am already getting sad that he is growing up soooooo fast! BUT I am loving every minute watching it happen!!!
