Boston 2009-

Fried turkey with all the trimmings......Bowling.....dressing up Aldo as a girl (Juliann did this).....making fun of Bruce (very typical thing to do- haa haa)....Aldo and Duke, the dog, became good friends.......a very squirmy baby on the short flight (can't complain since the 4 before this have been a breeze)......all of this was priceless!!!!!! Happy Thanksgiving 2009. Mom, dad, Kerrie, John, JB, Juliann, Tony and Aldo- thanks for making my thanksgiving the best!! Tony and I have so much to be thankful for!!

Updates

Here is the latest from the Bagnulo family:

ALDO
*Eye/tear duck is clear!
*Not sure if he still has an ear infection- I haven't seen him grabbing his ear lately.
*Second tooth is breaking through on the bottom!
*He is crawling like a mad man!
*He loves saying "da da da" but has no clue what he is saying.

FAMILY
*We are flying to Boston tomorrow for Thanksgiving with Kerrie, John, JB, Juliann, Mom and Dad.
*Tony got a new office!
*After tons of agonizing time- we decided not to go to Texas for Christmas only because of the cost of tickets- $625 was too much per ticket- I am so sad!
*We did decide to go to Atlanta AFTER spending Aldo's 1st Chrsitmas in NYC (much cheaper flights)

That's all for now!!!!!!!!

Aldo's Blocked Tear Duck

Today Aldo's blocked tear duck was shut down! He had a small surgery to unclog it. The doctor told Tony that it might come back around Christmas but he hopes not. Aldo was a big boy even after many eye drops and being strapped to a board unable to move! Tony said the process took about 10 minutes and away they went to day care. I am so glad that it's done! Thanks baby!

Now to get rid of Aldo's ear infection........(which we don't notice because Aldo sleeps through the night and doesn't seem bothered by it since getting on some medicine!)

3 1/2 months- Here we go again!!!!!!!!!!!

That's right- we are expecting baby #2 sometime around May 21st. We are super excited and yes it was pretty much planned. We wanted our kids close together but again we didn't think it would happen as fast as it did the first time. Aldo, of course, only being 8 months old has no close he is about to share our love and time! He will, however, be a great BIG brother. We don't know yet whether it's a girl or a boy- that news will probably will be our Christmas present from Dr. Jew at our next visit.

I am feeling great. I am having another easy pregnancy, however, I do go to bed at 9:30! I teach all day, take the subway to pick up and carry Aldo 45 minutes on the bus and subway home from daycare, then bath and feed him before finally getting to sit down! That is one difference between the 1st pregnancy and now. Also another huge difference is during my 1st pregnancy I was able (had the time) to work out most days. Now I get to the gym about one time a week to walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes before I feel guilty about having Aldo at daycare for any longer. So I have lost any muscle I used to have- ugh. And finally I have gained 2 lbs but the fat knows exactly where to go- I feel like my belly is stretched already! ugh.

That's the news for now....I will post belly pictures soon! xoxox

Happy Halloween 2009

Tony and I talked about what Aldo could be for Halloween months ago- the Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters was the only and most perfect fit. Luckily we have an amazing seamstress in the family who agreed to hand make Aldo's first costume. (Thanks Marci!) When I first saw Aldo in his costume at day care- I busted out crying- he was the cutest marshmallow man I had ever seen. Aldo was the talk of the day! "Where did you buy that costume" "That is the best costume we have ever seen" "That is Aldo all the way"......on and on.....I of course agreed! His was the best and most original costume! On Halloween we went to the park with our friends, Lindsay, Gordan and their son Ethan (who was also a cute giraffe)! Aldo was such a trooper- we got so many great photos (probably to be shown at his wedding!) Thank you again mom for making this costume and like I said over the phone- now you have set yourself up to make all of his costumes!!! We appreciate and loved it so much! xoxo
