Date Night

We are really trying hard to call Ft. Lauderdale home but since we are still not established and settled it is so hard to do that. I have met some awesome moms that I am trying to 'court'. One of them has been involved with a non-profit called HANDY since middle school. Tony and I agreed to attend an event last week and had a great time. We made some new friends and helped out a great cause! I am hoping to actually start getting involved with this organization!

The next big things on the horizon is a best friend mini trip with my gal Jenny to Key Largo in two weeks and then a family visit for Easter weekend. I have so much to look forward too and to be thankful for!

Aldo
1. If he drops something says “birdie eat dat”
2. Loves fruit (apples, melon, grapes) you name it
3. Has a love/hate relationship with CJ at the moment
4. Has always been in the 90th+ percentile for height and weight
5. Is liking the word “happy” right now- he will see a picture of an animal or person smiling and say “happy”

Visits

We have been lucky enough to have two sets of visitors the last two weekends. First our good friends from NYC- Lindsay, Gordan and Ethan came down for some fun in the sun. Ethan and Aldo are best buds- they are actually the exact same age- born on March 9, 2009! We enjoyed the beach, pool, water taxi, dinners and just having Aldo have some kid time with Ethan! It's nice to have friends like them!

This weekend Jodi and Tony came down. Unfortunately for Aldo they didn't bring his cousins Wryder or Jack. (I hope Jodi will return with Wryder soon) We had sick babies all weekend and the weather was a bit windy so we were not able to do a beach/pool day. We did enjoy a wagon ride with Aunt Jodi to get frozen yogurt on Friday! On Saturday we got a babysitter so we went out on the town (or at least a block away to the hottest spot on Las Olas). We enjoyed an amazing dinner! We can't thank them enough for coming down to visit. We really miss them. A LOT!
