Hard Work!

Having two kids is hard work! I am just trying to get my feet on the ground and organized each day when one of boys throws something new into the loop! CJ is a calm baby during the day and then about 7pm he starts to cry- not sure if its colic or not- but he crys off and on for about two hours. Last night I walked outside with him in the carrier which he loved. Sometimes I think he is overtired- sometimes gas- sometimes cranky- no real answers yet. I think with each night I will start to understand his needs more and more.

Aldo is being so good. He was fairly cautious of having a brother in the house at first, only leaning in for kisses when told. But now he wants to tap his head, touch his feet, pull his blanket- all in the name of love of course!

We are enjoying each round of visitors as well! Tony's parents came then my mom- up next Anna, Abby and Ashley then Tabitha and then my mom and dad! Aldo certainly loves all the extra attention he receives!

I am trying to make sure Aldo is still interacting with other children and learning new things each day! Here are some pictures of Aldo at the Children's Museum. My mom, Jodi, GW, Jack, CJ and Aldo and I all experienced it for the first time on Thursday. It was pretty awesome!! Attached are also some pictures from the following day when I took the boys to the Central Park Zoo (we met Aldo's friends Max and Sirah). Lots of fun!!

Memorial Day BBQ

Yesterday we went to our friends apartment building for a bbq. Their son, Ethan, was born on the exact same day as Aldo. He and Aldo love to 'play' with each other- they are not quite old enough to play so they walk around and at least notice each other. CJ as you can tell was having a blast! (at 2 1/2 weeks he doesn't do much besides sleep)Gordan, Lindsay, Tony and I ate burgers and smores and enjoyed a few cold beers! I am enjoying my new freedom since I have been pregnant for practically two years! Our next visitor arrives today- my mom. I will post more pictures after I take some this week. xo

Mom and Dad visit

Marci arrived last Tuesday to help Tony and I out. She was a huge help with Aldo and CJ! She even whipped up some yummy meals for us! Mike joined us on Friday for the remander of their trip. Aldo enjoyed his first popicle with his Papa Mike! We just hung out, went for pizza, and even got a date night! Thank you so much mom and dad! We love you! xox

Miss you already!!!!!!!!

Charles Joseph Bagnulo aka CJ

CJ was born at 11:01am May 13, 2010. He weighed 7 lb 7 ounces and was 21 inches long. He looks like Aldo did as a baby but has a little darker hair. He has been a pretty good baby thus far with the exception of last night! haa. He has been to the doctor twice to check weight and jaundice- both of which are okay for now. Aldo is a little unsure what is happening. He says baby and points to CJ and gives him kisses often. Aldo is mostly excited that Tony has been with him 24-7 for the past few days! They are going to be having some serious bonding time over the next two weeks. My mother-in-law, Marci, comes in tomorrow!! We are so excited for her to meet CJ. We also want to thank Jodi and Tony and Brett and Kajal for looking after Aldo while I was in the hospital. We are so lucky to have family and friends like them in the city! We love you!!

Aldo preps for baby #2

I have been trying to get Aldo to understand that he is about to be a big brother, but, being just 14 months he is clueless! So with that in mind I have tried to domesticate him so he can help mommy when the baby is born! Here is proof:

Stevie Wonder

Aldo has started to do the Stevie Wonder! It is so funny because it is so random! We really enjoyed Montauk and the Hamptons this past weekend. We knew once baby 2 comes that little weekend trips would be few and far between. The Hamptons has a very relaxing vibe- huge houses tucked behind amazing landscaped front yards, lots of seafood restaurants on the water overlooking the docks, high-end shopping, and of course the amazing beaches. While we were there we had great weather, however, still too cold to enjoy the beach. We walked around South Hampton, visited the oldest lighthouse in NY State, enjoyed good food, and visited the infamous Dreesen's donut shop.

Now back in the city we are experiencing hot muggy weather. Yuck! I am glad that I am going to be delivering soon because this heat is already making me SWELL! I go to the doctor tomorrow- I will let you know what he says. My official due date is two weeks from this Friday! omg- it's becoming very real! We are having a baby!!
