Belly

Here I am 5 1/2 (22 weeks) pregnant with baby boy #2. I hate these pictures but I figure what the heck I will be back in shape after the baby comes- now is my time to look lumpy! Baby #2 does not have a name yet but suggestions and thoughts are coming into play everyday. Any suggestions?

It's a BOY!

Tony and I went to the hospital for my 20+ week anatomy scan yesterday and we found out that we are having a BOY! Yep- Tony was right I might be destined to have all boys. The baby was a little stubborn and would not stretch out so the nurse could get a good view of his face- so I have to return next week. I also have a low placenta, which is common, and will have to return in 6 weeks to make sure it moved up. Other than that- I am feeling great! Aldo has no clue that he is going to have a baby brother that follows his every move!Just picturing that makes me smile.....That's it for now- I will post a belly picture next!

Aldo comes to mommy's school

Before Christmas break Tony brought Aldo to my school. He was not feeling well and had to leave early but not before Tony could get a shot with some of my freshmen students.

Texan Christmas

This year we spent the holidays in Texas with the Bagnulos. Anna and Gina (Tony's two sisters) live in Austin and Dallas respectively. We flew into Austin and settled into Anna and Kevin's spacious beautiful home! All 5 of their children plus mom, dad, Gina, and Pete were there to greet us! We enjoyed traditional Bagnulo Christmas cooking- homemade everything- pasta frita, spinach ravioli, and lasagna. I am not lying when I say I would travel 20 hours with 4 babies just have Christmas dinner with the Bagnulos. We enjoyed watching all of the kids open their gifts- Santa was very generous this year! We then headed to Dallas to see Gina and Pete's place. Being this was my first real visit to Texas (except for our Bagnulo beach trip this past summer to South Padre) I really liked both Austin and Dallas. Tony went alone to the Independence Bowl to see Georgia beat Texas A & M (we were all suppose to go but one by one we all got a 12 hour bug). He adores GA football and would travel to the depths of the earth to see them play live! After a few days in Dallas we headed back to Austin to fly home. Leaving the 65 degree sunny skies for a snowy NYC was hard. We had a fabulous vacation and Christmas and want to thank all of the Bagnulos for making it so special. We look forward to another great year. Baby #2 will be here in May and will only make our lives more complete. Happy 2010!!
