Saturday

Saturdays are often consumed with apartment improvement projects, cleaning, errands, walks in Central Park, or lately getting ready for baby TBA. Today we decided to do something new! We headed south toward Chelsey to get Aldo's 2nd haircut by Tony's barber, Albert. (I promised not to put Albert's picture on Facebook but too late- haa haa). The Bagnulo family then headed toward the west village and the new High Line park. The High Line lifted dangerous fright trains over the streets of Manhattan's largest industrial district. The park boosts some green vegetation, benches, tons of tourists, and great views of the city and river. After walking around the park we continued our adventure street level through the west village and Soho. Even though I was craving banana pudding from Magnolia Bakery the line was way too long for my pregnant inpatient self. So we decided to half a snack at Five Guys. Aldo enjoyed his 1st french fry (he does eat my sweet potato fries but has not had a regular french fry til today). After a long day we headed home where Tony made our
1st grilled steak and shrimp dinner. Grilling inside is nice but definitely not the same as out! A perfect ending to a perfect NYC Saturday!!
