CJ is crawling

CJ is now on the move! Slow and steady he makes his way wherever he feels like going. He just turned 7 months, which is way earlier than when Aldo started crawling (9 months). I can only assume he will surpass his brother in the walking department as well. Aldo walked at 14 months and at this rate I predict CJ to walk about 11 months.

Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays! As we gear up for a month long visit down south I wanted to share some pictures from a recent trip to Central Park. We wanted to get better pictures of the boys and family, however, it was pretty impossible to get Aldo to sit still and CJ to look at the camera.

ALDO (21 months)
*He is still a "big" boy- weighing probably 33 lbs.
*Talking ALL the time- copying everything we say...his favorite sayings are: no way, all done, hug mommy, hug daddy, baby turn, mommy turn, daddy turn, monkey on (his slippers), cartoon time, okay, good bye, fire truck, car.....etc. etc...
*He eats a daily smoothies made of spinach, pumpkin, yogurt, berries, wheat germ and OJ to make sure he gets some veggies in for the day since he does not eat anything green.
*He loves his brother- he holds his bottle, hugs him, laughs at him and gives him toys to chew.
*He loves to take walks- every morning he wakes up saying walk walk walk...
*He is obsessed with cars, trucks, trains, helicopters, planes, balls--anything boys like!
*He hates getting his hair cut.
*He loves his friends and cousins (unless he wants something they have- lol).
*He is a good sleeper- most nights he sleeps 745 to 8am or later!

CJ (7 months)
*Has started rice cereal and some veggies.
*Gets on all fours and really wants to crawl.
*Sleeps pretty good- from 645 to 530am.
*Likes sharing a room with his big brother.
*Likes to chew on all of Aldo's toys.
*Likes to watch Aldo run back and forth in the apt.- he thinks its so funny.
*He is a sweet baby- almost never complaining even when mommy takes him all around the city with his big brother.

We have been blessed this year and can't wait to see what the future holds for our family!!!

Talking baby

Aldo is talking up a storm these days! He turns 21 months on Thursday the 9th- I can't believe time flys this fast. CJ is putting all his energy these days into watching every move Aldo makes and trying to crawl. CJ turns 7 months next week! xoxo

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving has come and gone just that fast- boo. We braved the crowds to see the Macy's Day Parade balloons being inflated on Wednesday late afternoon. Please note that Tony's moustache is for Movember- only 3 more days to donate! On Thanksgiving we went over to Jodi and Tony's for dinner. As you can see we had man on man defense with everyone in charge of a child. Next year we are getting some help so the adults can actually carry on a conversation longer than a minute! All in all the food and company was wonderful. What more can you ask for- a healthy happy family and great cousins to share it with! xox

Happy Thanksgiving

The Bagnulo clan will be heading across the park to the McGill estate for Thanksgiving this year. We will be feasting on turkey, mac and cheese, apple crisp, chocolate pie, stuffing and much more! The four trouble makers (Aldo, CJ, Jack and Wryder) will be fighting over toys and hugging between fights. We hope to make the Macy's Parade to have our first Santa sighting of the season! August arrives!!

Marina and August made a trip to DC to visit friends two weeks ago. I was so sad because a train ticket to see them would be too expensive, especially since we will see them at Christmas. But as luck as it I was given an early Christmas present! Marina had a hard time for a few days trying to get a military flight back to Germany so she gave up and bought a ticket on a commercial jet. By doing this she had to lay over in NYC for a whole day! They arrived this morning at 10am and just left about 6:30pm. I got to hold and kiss August several times (when he is not sleeping- which he did a lot- I forget how much 3 1/2 month olds sleep). He looks like Marina, sorry Gibb. But he does have my brother's chin and sour faces when he gets mad! August got to meet CJ, Aldo, Tony, Jodi, Wryder, Jack and the dog Coco! Thanks again Marina for making it work! Love you. PS- We got to talk on the phone to Gibb as well- another bonus to my already great day!! I love you Gibb and you will be home with your beautiful family before you can blink! Thanks for serving our country- we all love you very much!! PSS- Please note that it is Movember and that is why Tony has a moustache

Boo Boo

Today at the gym I got a call that Aldo fell and hit is forhead. He was okay but his forhead was definetly red. After venturing to a crowded Barnes and Noble and the toy store we came home. He fell again on the same spot once we got home. To make it all better I gave him food, of course! Here is him having a snack and dancing after two falls to his little forhead.
