August arrives!!

Marina and August made a trip to DC to visit friends two weeks ago. I was so sad because a train ticket to see them would be too expensive, especially since we will see them at Christmas. But as luck as it I was given an early Christmas present! Marina had a hard time for a few days trying to get a military flight back to Germany so she gave up and bought a ticket on a commercial jet. By doing this she had to lay over in NYC for a whole day! They arrived this morning at 10am and just left about 6:30pm. I got to hold and kiss August several times (when he is not sleeping- which he did a lot- I forget how much 3 1/2 month olds sleep). He looks like Marina, sorry Gibb. But he does have my brother's chin and sour faces when he gets mad! August got to meet CJ, Aldo, Tony, Jodi, Wryder, Jack and the dog Coco! Thanks again Marina for making it work! Love you. PS- We got to talk on the phone to Gibb as well- another bonus to my already great day!! I love you Gibb and you will be home with your beautiful family before you can blink! Thanks for serving our country- we all love you very much!! PSS- Please note that it is Movember and that is why Tony has a moustache

Boo Boo

Today at the gym I got a call that Aldo fell and hit is forhead. He was okay but his forhead was definetly red. After venturing to a crowded Barnes and Noble and the toy store we came home. He fell again on the same spot once we got home. To make it all better I gave him food, of course! Here is him having a snack and dancing after two falls to his little forhead.

Slide

Aldo and CJ about to slide....Aldo can now slide all by himself! CJ needs a hand! It is going to be crazy when they are both running around the playground!

It's feeding time!

CJ turns 6 months this Saturday and is becoming a little boy already! He can hold his own bottle (with support of a blanket) and he is eating rice cereal every night for dinner. Yes, I am still breastfeeding him (if you were wondering). I will probably continue until after Christmas or til who knows when....He can almost sit unattended, loves to laugh at his older brother, has been down the slide 3 times, sleeps 10 hours at night and loves to chew on everything.

Winter

Halloween weekend

Super Mario Brothers!!! Thanks to Marci, Aldo and CJ had handmade costumes again this year (last years infamous Stay Puff Marshmallow costume has gone down in the history books). Aldo didn't really enjoy the hat or the fake attached mustache but we managed to capture the essence of the costume. He did like running up and down the closed streets on 91st and 94th (while seeing famous people like Katie Couric). He then REALLY enjoyed going to some apartment doors and getting candy. I have a feeling he is going to think this is a normal thing- knocking on a door then someone with a bucket full of candy answering! He managed to only have a few minor breakdowns when we didn't allow him to eat every single piece as he was getting them. CJ enjoyed watching Aldo but mostly he took a nap and couldn't be bothered by it all. All and all it was a fabulous day!

Best Friends

As you all know Wryder and Aldo are best friends (Jack is Aldo's best friend too but often takes a back seat to his older brother). Aldo copies everything Wryder does and vise versa. They really enjoyed the pumpkin patch as you can see!!
