Jack Paul McGill

Congrats Jodi and Tony on their new arrival. Aldo, Tony and I are so thrilled to add another boy to our growing team! He is so precious! We love you!
And of course little GW is growing like a weed. He is becoming a big boy and will be showing Aldo and little JP the ropes soon!

1st high chair experience

Yesterday Aldo and I met Tony for lunch in the meat packing district. Aldo used to wear his hair in a Mohawk but lately he is going for more of a banker look with a Donald Trump type comb over. Here he is sitting like a big boy while mommy and daddy enjoy lunch!

Last Summer Trip

Aldo and I took our last trip of the summer to South Carolina. We were suppose to go to the beach with mom, dad, grandma, Aunt Pat, Uncle Ron, Ike, Ida, and Chuck but mom decided to have her hip replacement surgery. It was an unexpected surgery that came on pretty fast over the past 6 weeks. Mom was in a lot of pain and the doctors said it was not if she was going to have hip replacement but when! So she wanted to go ahead with it so she could be up and back to normal for their trip to see Gibb and Marina at the end of September. Her surgery went flawless and she is walking strong with a walker now. She hopes to break all records and be on a cane this week and then back to to work the week after next (normally people are home for about 4 weeks- not my mom!). One thing is for sure whatever she puts her mind to she does! She is such a strong woman and I am so lucky she is my mom!! Here are some photos from the week at home. Aldo was an angel on his 4th flight and continued to be an angel throughout the whole trip! We went to see Pat, Ron, Ike, and Ida- then went to visit Sandra- then grandma- then stayed the night with Jean- then helped mom with her surgery! It was great to see everyone but Aldo and I were happy to get home. We wish mom a quick recovery- love you!

5 months

Since Aldo has started eating rice cereal (day 3) we had to get a high chair. He loves it. After he eats his teaspoon of cereal he is on top of the moon, talking up a storm! In the past few days as well he has learned how to flip from his back to his belly. I have yet to see him but as you can see the pictures show he somehow does it in his crib. That's it for now....

First Rice Cereal Feeding at 5th Month Birthday

You have to love Tony's shirt! He even wears it out around the neighborhood! Aldo loved his rice cereal and slept through the whole night (11 hours) after we fed it to him. He is growing like a weed and talking up a storm!! His favorite things to do are:
1) Take baths (mainly being naked!)
2) Hang out with Wryder (mainly b/c he has cool toys!)
3) Talk (mainly b/c he is happy that he was fed real food!)
4) Listen to Daddy play the guitar (mainly b/c he worships Tony)
5) Smile at everyone (mainly b/c he loves attention!)
He is such a good baby! Happy 5 months little man- mommy and daddy love you very much!!

Day Care

Sorry I haven't posted any new pictures this week- I have been boggled down with trying to find a day care. I found about 3 options- all in various corners of the city- one on 93rd, one on 27th, and one on 38th. The location is a key factor because Tony will have the honor of dropping Aldo off and I have pick up duty. Therefore we need to find somewhere that is convenient to us both. I will be weighing our options again through the weekend and decide this week. ugh! I will let you all know what we decide!
